"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

This quote used to be my life motto. My "mission statement", if you will.

The turning point in my life, however, was the day I realized I can't change the situations and people in my life, and instead of feeling like a failure, I walked away feeling more hopeful about them than I ever had before.

Because I'm not the change that the world needs, Jesus is.

God can do so much more than I ever can, my only regret is that I'm just now learning to entrust to Him the things I can't control.

So now i look at what I can't change, and I see hope, not despair. I am not overwhelmed by the problems that surround me, because I know what the solution is, and it's not me.

It's Jesus.
